Treatment

Our approach to working with clients and families is holistic and integrated. We believe that it is very important for psychiatric and psychotherapeutic care to be in-sync at all times. Psychologists at STEPS work directly under the supervision of Dr Rastogi and client progress is reviewed on a regular basis with detailed, ongoing supervision. Consequently we do not work with clients who have therapists outside of STEPS.

Parents and families are a critical link helping children and adolescents who are struggling with a mental health ailment. It is our belief that empowered families and parents are critical in treating a child. Caregivers are actively engaged in the treatment process. Early on in the treatment journey goals are decided in mutual agreement with parents and child/ adolescent. Progress on these goals is then reviewed and discussed in parent meetings with Dr Rastogi which are held every month or once in two months, as needed.
